Washington, DC, is just a short ride from historic Gettysburg. Upon arrival relax and view from our deluxe Motorcoach as we drive passed: Arlington National Cemetery, The White House, Washington Monument, Jefferson and Navy Memorials, The Capitol, Ford's Theatre, and many more national landmarks. Memorial Stops; Iwo Jima * World War II * Lincoln * Vietnam & Korean.

You will have enough time to stroll through the memorials, take pictures or to look up a name on the Wall. This afternoon we stop for approximately 3 hours of free time at the Smithsonian Institute. Here, you can explore the 10 museums on the National Mall with lunch on your own. We depart DC with an evening buffet at Mt. Gate Family Restaurant along the way.
